2011 – Parliament Status Granted

Till now, Hinduism was the only major world religion which did not have a government-funded faith-school to serve its community. That all changed when the ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵTrust was born! In 2011, the British Parliament resolved that ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵwas granted the status of ‘religious authority’ for Hindu faith schools; a great achievement for the large Hindu community of Britain!

The UK's former Prime Minister David Cameron hosted his third annual Diwali celebration at 10 Downing Street, inviting professionals, organisations and religious representatives from across the Hindu community. 2015: Performance at Wembley Stadium

Children from Krishna ¶¶ÒõÊÓƵPrimary School in Harrow were invited to perform a cultural piece for the historic ‘Namaste Wembley’ event at Wembley Stadium! The event was to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi and was hosted by the UK’s former Prime Minister David Cameron. The students got the opportunity to meet both Prime Ministers and receive their congratulations!

This week, @avantihousesecondaryschool the school community came together to celebrate the vibrant festival of Diwali, a time to embrace light over darkness and joy over despair.
